This week marks a one year anniversary of sorts for me. So what better time to start this blog than now?
A year ago I was working for Paul Davis Systems. I was a project manager trying to make a difference helping people who had suffered some sort of disaster.
A year ago I wasn't sleeping, I was starting to have anxiety issues, I was unhappy and all this was affecting my mental and physical health.
A year ago I made the decision to take a step back. I took a leave of absence to collect my thoughts and assess what the future was going to look like for my family and I.
A year ago was the first day of the rest of my life.
In the last year, I had to find myself. I wanted to make sure whatever I did, my focus was still rooted in being true to myself, being a great husband and father, as well as son and friend to my family and those I loved.
In the last year, I flipped my whole life upside down, managed to find happiness and a way forward that works... For me, and my family.
In the last year, I've taken the skills I've developed over the past 20 years and have turned them into this little company that keeps growing.
I say it often, but only because it's true... Thank you for the love and support of what I'm doing. Thank you for taking some time to check out my work. You could be doing anything in the world right now and you chose to be here. It's sincerely appreciated and never taken for granted.
